Since its creation in 2017, the Azores Try-Out has been held annually on the island of São Miguel, bringing together teams from companies in various regions, including the Azores, Madeira, mainland Portugal and even abroad. Each edition offers a unique experience, designed to strengthen team cohesion, communication and collaboration in challenging and engaging contexts.
Participants faced more than 150 km of trails across the island, with challenges including kayaking, cycling, orienteering and obstacle courses. These activities were designed to promote resilience, teamwork and creative problem solving, reflecting situations in the professional world, while providing moments of fun and learning.
In addition to the physical challenges, the event offers a true immersion in Azorean culture, with the opportunity to explore volcanic landscapes, local traditions and the natural beauty of the region, creating an enriching and memorable experience for all participants.
Organised by Livin'it Azores and supported by partners such as unOffice, Competir and other local companies, Azores Try-Out has established itself as an event that promotes team building and reinforces the commitment to innovation and sustainable tourism in the Azores.
