About Azores Try Out

Azores Try-Out aims to be an adventure challenge aimed at the national and international business world, combining sport, leisure and tourism in an environment of excellence that only the Azores can offer. It is an initiative of Livin'it Azores in partnership with unOffice – PDL Business & Cowork Centre.

This competition will be aimed at company executives, and given the niche market it targets and the characteristics of the competition, the number of competitors will be limited in order to allow for a fluid and intense pace.

The competition will be held on 10–11 October 2025 over two days (Friday and Saturday) with an overnight stay. Sunday will be devoted to leisure activities. The event is based on extreme and adventure sports competitions, but also includes other less physical types of competition, with the added attraction of taking place on a secret route and in a rally system with time controls that will take competitors over 150 km in a light vehicle, all over the island of São Miguel.

What it is about

 Azores Try-Out is a corporate adventure that combines sports, recreation and tourism in one of the most beautiful places on the planet – the island of São Miguel in the Azores. All participants will receive a map and their goal will be to complete a secret course with various activities such as abseiling, canoeing, cycling, swimming, diving, obstacle courses and other exercises that require teamwork. All activities are based on teamwork, so all these experiences contribute to strengthening team spirit.

How does it work?

The event begins on Friday, 10 October (the day before arrival) and ends on Saturday, 11 October (the day after departure). The total number of participating teams is 20, with each team consisting of 3 to 5 members.
